Here’s What Happens:
- Borrow their phone and open Spotify to search for a song and start playing it on mute. You never touch their phone again!
- Introduce a pack of karaoke cards and have a participant freely pick any song in the deck. They never tell you what song they chose and just imagine listening to it in their mind.
- They now raise the volume on their phone and jaws hit the floor as the song they had selected is playing!
InstruMental is a deck of music cards that is loaded with devious secrets. The beautifully designed cards feature popular artists and songs from a wide variety of decades and genres. From Prince and Amy Winehouse to Snoop Dogg and Elvis, there’s an eclectic mix that anyone can relate to. All you need to perform is any smartphone (Android or iPhone) with Spotify and, believe it or not, the cards will do nearly all the work for you.
There’s multiple versions offered, whether you, or your audience, has a free or premium Spotify account. Additionally, iPhone owners can use their phone to have the song revealed as a music video playing on YouTube or Vimeo, instead of Spotify. The possibilities are truly wild.
The ingenious core method does not use NFC, RFID, App Clips, Shortcuts, remotes, or any custom apps. There’s no side-loaded software or pairing devices – everything happens natively on their phone. If your spectator is one of the few who does not have the Spotify app, you can always perform using your phone – it’s just as impressive!

Because of the secretive nature of magic, many items are non-returnable once opened. However, we’ll always do our best to make things right.

- Unopened Physical Products: You may return new, unused, and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or store credit.
- Defective or Damaged Items: If a product arrives damaged or doesn’t work as expected, we’ll replace it or refund you—no hassle.
- Digital Downloads: All instant downloads, streaming videos, and digital content are non-refundable once purchased.
- Opened Tricks or Props: Due to the exposure of magical methods, we cannot accept returns on opened or used magic effects (unless defective).
